Putting this page and our recent trip to Harrisburg Comic-Con aside, the world lost a great creator, poet, and human this past week; Chris Cornell. A personal hero of mine, and the last living lead singer of my favorite bands that I grew up with. From Soundgarden and Temple of the Dog, to Audioslave and his solo career, I followed his music as long as I can remember. Chris Cornell is now gone and I honestly believe it’ll be some time before the sting finally wears away.

Jason will be back on Thursday, and I’ll be back next Tuesday with more about the convention. For now, I’ll leave you all with this:

“Pearls and swine bereft of me.
Long and weary my road has been.
I was lost in the cities, alone in the hills.
No sorrow or pity for leaving, I feel.

I am not your rolling wheels – I am the highway.
I am not your carpet ride – I am the sky.”

-Chris Cornell
